I wouldn't say I'm an expert on realtors but I have worked with/consulted a fair number of other realtors and I have to say Mie Kim surpasses them by far. Many realtors are helpful but you can tell their advice is colored by their interest in closing a deal quickly. On the other hand, Mie is amazing and I don't say that lightly. Mie was recommended to my fiancé and me by a family friend who herself has decades of experience in real estate, and boy were we glad we listened to her. Mie is incredibly knowledgeable, guided us through the whole process, and there wasn't a question she couldn't answer. One of the things she did that I am quite touched by is that she would accommodate my difficult work schedule, showing us so many homes on weekends/early mornings/late evenings/in between meetings, advocating for us, and answering any questions we had, even replying to late and urgent questions. She gave us insight on how to buy a good property for a good price, comforted us when we were disappointed we had to walk away from a property we liked but was overpriced, and celebrated with us when we did close on an amazing property that we love. The day we got our keys, she made sure to meet us (which was late due to our work schedules), hugged us, and wished us the best for our family in our new home with great enthusiasm. I knew we had made the right choice, but the look on her face such genuine happiness for us confirmed it. I cannot recommend Mie Kim enough, if you are lucky enough to have her as your realtor and advocate, you are in good hands!

Exactly what Benjamin B. said. It wasn't until we moved away and could no longer use Mie that we fully realized just how awesome she was. I know we were not her biggest commission clients, but she always made us feel like we were her number 1 priority. When we bought our home, we were first-time home buyers and had no clue. She explained everything and answered all of our questions (I recall one instance where we texted her in a panic at 11 pm, but she still answered and relieved our worries!). She was professional, prepared, and experienced, but was also personable and became someone we considered a friend. When we had to sell our first house, Mie was the first person we called. She got the job done amazingly fast without settling for less than the full value of the house. I wish we could have packed her in our moving truck to help us buy our house in another state!
